A principal is a head of a school, under whose direction the members of the staff and other officials work. He is all in all of a school. But his duties and responsibilities are numerous. He has to look after the school very carefully. Obviously, a principal must be dynamic. His personality must be impressive so that he may adore the past.
I often dream to be the principal of my school. If ever I become the same, I will introduce many reforms in order to have an ideal school of my dreams.
I never believe in words but action. Therefore I would try to set a personal example in hard-work, good behaviour, honesty, sincerity, devotion to duty and punctuality. I would improve the discipline of my school. It is the need of the hour to teach the students the lessons of discipline.
Unless there is discipline, nothing can be achieved. I would try my best to impress the students in such a way that they would always remain in discipline instead of misusing their freedom.

Education does not mean only instructing students. Bookish knowledge alone will not be stuffed into their heads. They will be taught to be sincere and honest in their work and cooperate with others. They are the hope of the nation and therefore they will be handled with great care. Efforts will be made to develop all the students mentally, morally, physically and emotionally. They will be taught the moral values of life, which is the essence of a good human being.
I shall form different committees of students under different teachers to look after day to day problems. Students will feel /their responsibilities regarding different school activities. This will train them for future life. They will learn the management quality.
Our students often suffer from some serious diseases. Hence, I would also give priority to make proper arrangements for their regular medical examination.
Games and sports are the essential parts of a school. They have an important place in life of students too. Hence I would give equal importance to them. I would make such an arrangement that all the students might take part in them. Stress will be laid to Indian games and sports like kabaddi, kho-kho etc.

Quiz competitions, debates, extempores, declamations etc. will be organised time to time in order to improve the students’ personality. I would also make cultural activities compulsory.
Inspiring and informative news of the day will be written everyday at the main display-board. The school assembly would be colourful and very impressive. Library has an important place in a school. A large amount of money will be spent on it in order to make it rich with a variety of books.
Teachers will be well-qualified, sincere and punctual. I would make the school office very effective. Clerks would be made to work honestly. No extra work would be taken from them.
Last but not the least, I would arrange for extra classes after school hours for the weak students. In this way, I would try to make my school such an educational institution that parents as well as students would feel to be proud of being a part of the school.
