The most significant feature of ancient Indian philosophy was its all comprehensiveness. They considered all levels of life in one common unity. The concept of the world as a movement or “samsara” is a common feature of all schools of Indian philosophy. They believed in the continuity of life and transmigration of soul. Life, soul and action (Karma) are indestructible.

Immorality of soul is connected not only with the final end but also with a new beginning. Indestructibility of “Karma” is based on the belief that all our action, good or bad must and does bear fruit. Therefore, men enjoy or suffer in after lives according to their action in the present world.
