In the present day society teaching in not equated with a mere device adopted for communicating a certain quantum of information to the passive listeners, i.e., the students and it is no more exclusively the concern of the teacher. The teacher and the pupils are linked together into an organic relationship.
There is the sharing of educational experiences and a constant inter-action takes place. The child is active and learns whether falls within his experience. The teacher is to enable the child to experience what lie aims at, that the child should learn. It is going to be more and more emphasized that teaching and learning should tend to be a co-operative enterprise. The teacher is to make the child express his experience and also to enrich these with his own experience.
