Six major rights listed in the United Nations Conventions on the Rights of Child, 1992 are:

(i) To ensure that the child inherit rights of life without any discrimination.

(ii) To ensure the child’s right to be cared by his/her parents.

(iii) To ensure the rights of a child to get education.

(v) To ensure the right of child to social/security.

(vi) Protection of child from all forms of physical or mental violence, exploitation, torture.
