As aforesaid, Talaq is the divorce by Husband. It is either Talaq-us-Sunna or Talaq- ul-Bida. Talaq-us-Sunna is the Revocable Divorce commonly referred to as the Rajai/ Rajat Talaq.
Whereas the Talaq-ul-Bidat are the irrevocable forms of divorces and commonly referred to as the Bain Talaq. The Form of Talaq will determine as to whether it is Bain Talaq or Rajai Talaq. Bain Talaq always operates immediately and results into complete dissolution of marriage. Bain Talaq may be affected by words addressed to the wife clearly or clearly indicating an intention to dissolve the marriage.
All rules, court rulings and limitations applicable to Talaq-us-Sunna and Talaq-ul- Bidat will be applicable respectively to Rajai Talaq and Bain Talaq.
