1. Manufacturing type:

In this type of mail order house, manufacturers sell goods directly to consumers through mail.

2. Departmental type:

In this type of mail order house, departmental stores sell goods directly to consumers through mail, in addition to selling through departments.

3. Middlemen type:

In this case wholesalers and retailers sell goods through mail. They buy goods from manufactures or wholesalers and deliver them through post to consumers.
