Low rate of literacy is the root cause of all backwardness, may be political, social, economic or cultural. All the progressive national policies and programmes will not show the desired results unless the masses are educated in the country.
There is much of exploitation where ignorance prevails and; ignorance has its roots is illiteracy. Nation will make an all round progress and era of prosperity blooms when everybody is educated in the country and understands the country and understands the problems of the country and shows the courage to face them boldly.
