Goal Setting

After identifying the skill which is to be learnt, pay your attention towards goal setting. Goal setting is a simple, yet often misused motivational technique which can provide some structure for training and competition programme. Goals give a focus, and there are two well known acronyms to guide goal setting. The simple formula for goal setting is given by smarter and Sccamp. Smarter implies:

1. Goals must be Specific (S)

2. Training targets should be Measurable (M)
