Following steps should be initiated to remedy labour turnover so that cost of f production is controlled:
(i) Improving wage structure and providing incentives to the workers.
(ii) Provision of amenities and welfare measure.
(iii) Adoption of sound social security schemes, i.e., pension, family pension, provident funds, etc.
(iv) Introduction of proper policy of promotions and transfers.
(v) Improving working conditions.
(vi) Introduction of labour participation scheme.
(vii) Adoption of proper recruitment and training policy.
Control of labour turnover, therefore, needs proper job satisfaction to workers so that they continue in the organisation instead of leaving.
