Ground tissue system is not clearly differentiated into cortex and pith.

Vascular bundles are scattered in the ground tissue system.

Vascular bundles are comparatively more in number.

Vascular bundles are elliptical or rounded

Vascular bundles are surrounded by bundle sheath.

Vascular bundles are closed.

Phloem parenchyma is absent.

Pith is absent.
