Urochordata

1. Exclusively marine.

2. Body is covered with a cuticular tunic or test.

3. Notochord is present in the posterior half.

4. Nerve chord is dorsal and tubular.

5. Pharynx is performed by numerous gill slits.

6. Coelome is well developed.

7. Body is degenerated unsegmented.
