What are mailing machines?

The machines used to handle mailing operation are called mailing machines. There are different types of mailing machines.

These are :

1. Letter opening machine — These machines are used to open letters and 100 to 500 letter can be opened per minute.

2. Folding machine —These machines are used to fold papers into envelope. This machine can fold 10,000 to 20,000 papers per hour.

3. Sealing machine — This machine is used to seal the envelopes.

4. Mailing machine — A machine which combines mailing operation like folding up envelopes and sealing of envelopes is known as mailing machine. This machine is of great use in case of circulars.
