Office work is concerned with the records, statistics communications, computing, planning and scheduling. Most of the managers consider that office work is unproductive and does not contribute for earning profit. This feeling of managers is not true because office work contributes indirectly for profit. Office provides services to functional and profit-making department of the organisation. Therefore, office work is productive and an indicator of profit as office facilitates the functioning and coordinating of productive departments like production and sales.
