The management consists of three distinctive levels :

  1. Top management
  2. Middle management
  3. Lower management

Top-level management denotes chief executives like managing director and the general manager who issues instructions on the basis of the policy framed by the board of directors. The functional managers, office superintendent and departmental managers are included in middle level management group. The first line supervisors and the foremen are included in lower level management group. This group of management people is in direct touch with the operative workers.
