Which are the basic types of biogeochemical cycles? How do they differ

There are biogeochemical cycles with reference to a biotic phase. They are atmosphere reservoir cycle or gaseous cycle and sediment reservoir cycle or sedimentary cycle. The atmosphere reservoir cycle has i. dominent atmos­pheric phase. In this cycle the nutrients cycle through atmosphere organisms and soil. Sediment has a dominent sedimentary phase and atmospheric phase may be absent.
