1. 1/2 kg Fish

2. 1/2 cup channa dal

3. Egg-1


4. Onion-2 big size

5. Ginger 1 piece

6. Salt and Pepper as desired



Chop onions and ginger to small pieces. Add to fish along with salt and pepper. Cook till tender. Cook the channa dal with water. Cook dry. Grind to a fine paste the cooked fish, dal along with a bunch of coriander leaves. Beat egg and add to the mixture. Season to taste. Form into flat cakes of Kabab and shallow fat on a Tawa (grilling can also be done). Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney.
