Ranjit Singh got only a small kingdom comprising Gujranwala, Wazirabad and some area of Sialkot, Rohtas and Pind Dandan Khan, but with his great efforts he added Lahore and Amritsar along with all their territories. Beside he also subdued Jummu, wins Mirowel, Sialkot, Wazirabad humbled the Kangra chief Sansar Chant and Pathan chief Nizam-ud-din Kasur. He also tried his best to bring the Muslim principality of Kabul monarchy like Jhang and Sahiwal under their control.
Thus, by Ranjit Singh had extended his dominions to the whole of Punjab from the Sutlej to Indus with territories of Kashmir and hill tracts to the border of Tibet.
The trans-Indus region of Dera Ismail, Dera Gazi Khan Kariabad Peshwa was also subjected to the Sikh monarchy.
