The physical plan of a hotel refers to the land and site development (road, culvert, garden, tube well, fountain, drainage system, sewer line, etc), building (walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, ventilators, etc) building systems (pipes,) interior finishes (paints, varnishes, carpeting, distemper, white washing, wall paper, etc), furniture’s, fixtures and equipments (fire fighting, electrical safely, etc) of lodging facility.
Many of the components are visible such as grounds, exterior buildings, fire fighting, electrical etc. Others such as structural steel, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipments are not seen.
