Any investigation or inquiry has to pass through the following stages:

1. Planning of Investigation:

4. Editing of Data:

After collecting the data, editing makes it comparable meaningful. Data should be properly classified in the form of schedules and tables

5. Units of Data Collection:

It means unit of data should be uniform through the study. Otherwise, it will provide misleading conclusions.

6. Degree of Accuracy:

Degree of accuracy must be kept in mind.

7. Analysis of Data:

Data should be analyzed, prepared by using various statistical measures like averages and dispersion.

8. Interpretation of Data:

After analyzing the data properly, it must interpret to suggest meaningful and impartial conclusions.
