As per the report published recently by Transparency International New-Zealand is the country where level of corruption is zero & it ranked 1st in the list published by it.

If we analyse & observe the economical environment of New-Zealand then we can see it as successful capitalist country with good per capita income with satisfied GDP growth rate. Another European country like Denmark, Finland & Switzerland are found less corrupt by the transparency international.

Is capitalism a solution to reduce corruption? This question would come into mind of any sensible person if he or she looks into the economical structure of these countries. Capitalism is free economy where government encourage people of its nation to establish their business in every sector with maximum tax benefit that’s what the simple understanding I have about capitalism. In India we have mixed economical structure where government have a control of important business sector like petrochemical, railway, telecom, steel, energy ect.

Today if we look into these sectors then except railway in every sector privatisation has been done & private sector companies are getting investment to run their operations & they are excelling with good management policies.

Still India stands 95th in the list published by this agency this year which is lower rank than last year’s position (87th) of India. It means privatization which has been done by Indian government to encourage Indian business people is not helpful to reduce corruption.

What is a reason or reasons for corruption which is increasing day by day in India? According to me dishonesty of an individual or system is the main reason of corruption. If we look into different corruption cases happened in different sectors like telecom, aviation, construction, steel, energy, then we can find that capitalist are responsible to encourage government bureaucrats or ministers to capture authority and share of that particular business sector in Indian market.

Are capitalists responsible for it? Yes, they are responsible because they want to get into that business vertical to run their enterprise successfully & establish their feet into Indian business environment.

Positively, if we think about it from businessman point of view then he/she is investing in corruption to get opportunity to create his/her share into that particular business vertical. Competition is also reason for such kind of corruption because every business family want to get into or invest into opportunity available.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

To stop such kind of corruption government should track every activity involved in a deal between the ministry & business entities who want to get into that particular business segment.

Government should analyse the plan or proposal of the business organizations submitted to the respective ministry from the point of view of customer’s benefit along with number of employment created by company after setting up its business in Indian market. After successful analysis whichever company will prove its maximum competency into that particular business, government should give chance to that company to run its business in Indian market for giving maximum benefit to Indian customers.

Another last solution to stop such type of corruption is to not open different sectors which are under government’s control for private sector.
