Tissue System: Brief notes on Epidermal cells and Bulliform or motor cells. A plant contains different types of tissues. These tissues perform their own functions in the parts where they are present.
The difference between Epithelial Tissue and Connective Tissue is that the former is made up of cells and negligible amount of intercellular matrix whereas the later is made up of cells and a large amount of intercellular matrix.
Skeletal tissues are composed of solid matrix and cells. It includes notchordal tissues. Cartilages and bones. It forms endoskeletal elements in chordates. It protects and supports the soft part of the body.
Connective tissue is made up of a large amount of intercellular matrix of fibres or both and living cells. On the basis of nature of matrix connective tissue is of 3 types. They are connective tissue proper, skeletal tissue and fluid connective tissue.
The tissue is defined as group of cells which has common origin and development to perform a particular function. Epithelial tissue- Epithelial tissue is a group of cells which are arranged in layer(s) to form external or internal covering of the body or organs.
The difference between Simple Tissue and Complex Tissue are simple tissue consists of only one type of tissue, hence is homogeneous whereas complex tissues composed different types of cells, hence is heterogeneous.
Some of the most important difference between Meristematic and permanent tissue are :- Meristematic tissues have the capacity to divide whereas the permanent tissues have lost the capacity of division.
