What is the difference between DNA and RNA?

The difference between DNA and RNA are DNA is double helical structure whereas RNA is a single strand structure. DNA contains bases like adenine, thymine, cytosine and guanine. Uracil is absent but in RNA all bases are present except thymine, which is replaced by uracil.

Write a short note on RNA

Ribonucleic acid (RNA) differs from DNA in having uracil in place of thymine and most RNA are single stranded. There are three types of RNA: messenger RNA (m-RNA), transfer RNA(t-RNA) and ribosomal RNA(r-RNA). m-RNA associates with ribosomes of protein synthesis.
