What is the difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells? On the basis of cellular organisation in living organisms, two types of cells are recognised prokaryotic cells with no organised nuclei and eukaryotic cells having organised nuclei with nuclear envelops.
The difference between Prokaryotic Cell and Eukaryotic Cell are (Pro-primitive, karyon=nucleus). These are primitive type of cells lacking well organized nucleus whereas (Eu-true, karyon- nucleus). These cells are advanced type and have well organized nucleus.
