All the members of the family woke up. They ran out to save their lives; a young child was left inside. Flames were rising in the sky. Nobody was ready to risk his life. The dog rushed into the flames.
He himself was burnt but caught the child. He brought the child out of the house. All were happy. The master patted the dog. All praised the dog for the great act that saved the child’s life.
Moral: Faithfulness is always rewarding.
