It is my duty to take the sheep to the pastures in the morning. There they graze and I look after them. I see that they are not troubled by thieves or wild animals. In the evening I bring them safely back. If a sheep strays away, I go and find it out. In the night, the sheep are put in the fold. Then I keep awake for the whole night, and guard them. Thus, my duty is very difficult and full of dangers. But I am a sheep – dog and I am proud of doing a responsible duty. Besides, my master’s love compensates me for the difficulties and dangers that I undergo.

I take pride in being a sheep – dog. It is a brave and courageous thing to be a sheep – dog. So, I enjoy my life, and I am satisfied with my lot.
