The Annual Day celebrations were held in our school on 3rd October. The Lt. Governor was the chief guest. He gave away the prizes.
Preparations were made many days in advance. The school building was white washed. Then it was decorate the pandal was decorated. Chairs were arranged for the parents and other guests. The gate was decorated with flowers, balloons and buntings. The function started at 5 p.m.
The chief guest arrived on time. The N.C.C. cadets and the scouts gave a salute to the chief guest. Some students showed the gymnastic exercises. Then the cultural programme started.
A drama was staged. Action songs were sung. The Principal read out the annual report. The chief guest gave away the prizes. He congratulated the Principal and the staff on the progress made by the school. The function came to an end at 9 p.m. with the singing of the National Anthem.
