1. World Wildlife Fund-India (WWF-lndia)

It was established in India in 1969 at the time of XII General Assembly of the IUCN, held at Delhi. It was founded as a branch of WWF-International formed in 1961 with its headquarters at Switzerland.

2. Indian Board for Wildlife (IBWL)

It was first constituted in 1952. It is mainly responsible for wildlife conservation with the assistance of the central and state governments.
