Continental rise zone: It is the part of the continental margin that I between the continental slope zone and the abyssal depth zone

It is the part of the continental margin that I between the continental slope zone and the abyssal depth zone.

It is; termed as continental apron zone. It is characterized by a gentle inclined shows a comparatively smooth topography which may be with or witl subdued submarine canyons. The sedimentary apron and the org deposits here are more or less akin to bathyal depth zone.
