I would like to request you to give attention to the choices, preferences and interests of the children. Children constitute an important segment of readership. You cannot afford to ignore them. They are the future of the country. Your newspaper has a significant role in shaping their character. Children of today are the custodian of moral values of society. They have to lead the nation. It is they who have to take the nation to the path of progress and prosperity.

It is the duty .of society to inculcate in them moral values and ideals from the early childhood. They are the forbearers of the social norms and traditions. They should be well-informed of our culture and tradition. They should have sufficient knowledge of our glorious past. Their personal grooming is very important for the larger interest of society. So, these factors need to be taken into account.

It is, therefore, requested that you should give sufficient space in your edition to these things. More and more space needs to be given to the write-ups related to the children. This ^will lead to develop in them a habit of reading. Reading is a 9°od habit. It makes a civil society. This is good for the nation as well.
