What is surrogate birth?

In this technique, artificial insemination is done to another women with the sperms of the husband of a barren women. In this case after the birth of the child the surrogate mother should hand over the child to its biological father and his wife.

In another type of the same technique if the ovaries of the otherwise barren women are producing normal ovaries they are taken out and fertilised in vitro (in special laboratory equipments outside the body) and then reimplanted into the womb of another woman (surrogate mother). This may be called prenatal babysitting to help in the birth of the child. This method is also widely parctised in USA.
