The caste factor is still very predominant. Even more very bold and clever people bow before caste rituals in respect of matrimonial alliance. They cannot take independent decisions designed to rise above narrow bonds of caste considerations. The fate of the poor is very deplorable the illiterate people are easily prevailed upon in such matters.

The status of the women community which constitutes nearly half the population in our country has declined considerably. The condition of this vast forgotten majority, who has no forms and no voice, has deteriorated.
