List of precautions for fire hazards in your Office

There are various ways of causing fire hazards. These are:

(a) The butts of cigarette are “discarded carelessly.

(b) Throwing of loose waste papers on the floor.

(c) Matches are placed in the stands with the head exposed.

(d) Inflammable materials are not stored in lockers.

The following precautions are to be taken for fire hazards:

(a) Worn out electrical wiring should be replaced or dully repaired.

(b) All open electrical and gas fires should be avoided.

(c) Electrical main switches are switched off when the staffs have left the office.

(d) Live cigarette ends should not be thrown into wastepaper basket.

(e) There should be proper cleaning to premises.
