What is the difference between Fibrous Joint and Cartilaginous Joint ?

Fibrous Joint:

1. Fibrous Joints are fixed joints.

2. Articulating bones are held together by white fibrous e.g. sutures of skulls.

Catilaginous Joint:

1. Cartilaginous joints are slightly movable joints.

2. Articulating bones are held together by fibrous cartilage, e.g. between vertebrae pubic symphisis.
