Though Globalization has taken over India to become the fastest growing economy, on the other hand it has not addressed the issues faced by a dalits in India.

The development projects benefit the rich and powerful at the cost of Powerless people. This paper is a case study about one of the road development Projects and how it impacted the Dalits in the village.

Due to this the SC People lost their land for the Government project. Since 2004 the people who lost their land has been demanding for an alternative free house sites with in the available limit of the waste lands in their own community.

These land less community is cruelly affected by ruthless poverty so the panchayat raj representatives has to take necessary steps to give back the panchami lands to panchamars.
