What do we, as citizens, owe to the government?



Citizens are obliged to perform certain duties towards the government. They are:

(a) Participation in the political process, i.e., making a judicious use of their political rights and electing the right candidates to form the government;

(b) Paying taxes on time;

(c) Not to indulge in anti-social activities:

(d) Taking care of public property;

(e) Abiding by both governmental and constitutional laws;

(f) Respecting the national flag, national anthem and constitution.
