What is the difference between Exoskeleton and Endoskeleton?

Exoskeleton:

1. Hard part that lies outside of the body is called exoskeleton.

2. Develops from ectoderm.

3. Mostly non-living e.g. scales, hair, horns, feathers.

Endoskeleton:

1. Hard part that lies inside of the body is called endoskeleton.

2. Develops from endoderm.

3. They are living, e.g. Bones, cartilages.
