The layout of forms, which contains number of spaces to be completed by providing necessary information in office forms economically and efficiently. The designing of office forms should ensure principles of use, principles of standardisation and principles of centralised control. The principle of use states that forms are to be developed, if there is a purposeful need for its use. The standardisation principle states that forms shoujd be of equal quality and size, which reduces, cost of operation and avoid confusion. A central authority for design, use and replacement of forms should be developed. Proper designing of office forms play a significant role because of:
